It’s been said necessity is the mother of all inventions. Well, Charlie Ziegler needed supplies for his game room. As a result, ZieglerWorld was created.

ZieglerWorld was founded by Charlie Ziegler in 2002. Charlie had purchased a shuffleboard table and had difficulties finding retailers who sold wax for the table. When he did find retailers retail prices were high and the selection was limited.

After an extensive search, Charlie decided to purchase shuffleboard wax directly from the manufacturer. The one drawback was that he had to buy in bulk. Stacked up, the boxes of wax were bigger than the shuffleboard table.

Charlie started selling the excessive wax on Ebay. Based on customer emails, he learned that there was a need for other shuffleboard products. Charlie decided to purchase bulk supplies, create an internet store and open a warehouse fulfillment operation. This enabled him to pass on savings to his customers.

Over the years, customers requested different game room products. Charlie and the ZieglerWorld team expanded their product offering to include Billiards, Darts, and Tournament Charts as well as Table Shuffleboard Bowling Products and Table Shuffleboard Weights in 21 colors.

In 2013, ZieglerWorld acquired Davis-Gorman Shuffleboard, the leading provided of Table Shuffleboard Supplies in the Northeast. Wendy Davis and Dick Gorman built their business by treating customers like family, which is the same tradition of excellence of ZieglerWorld. Davis-Gorman Shuffleboard served their customers for over 19 years and Wendy and Dick were deeply involved in Table Shuffleboard. Dick Gorman was awarded the "Art Cassata" award and the "Board Talk Pioneer Open" award in 2002, the prestigious "Sol Lipkin" award in 2003 and in was inducted into the National Shuffleboard Hall of Fame in 2006. Wendy Davis was an avid player in leagues in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland and won the 2002 Women's Single Division North American Championship.

ZieglerWorld has sold products to every state in the US, the district of Columbia and all 5 major territories of the US. Worldwide we have sold to every province in Canada and to 51 other countries around the world.
