Start of project: I refinished a beat up Playfair Table.
The cradle was in very poor condition.

The table after 5 hrs. of sanding w/ 60 grit ble.

and the left (top) is not.
I inlayed mahogany for the lines.

I used very thin wood veneer for the numbers.
The table is now ready for Epoxy.

Here is the finished table  (My Halloween Party).  I painted the cradle black and replaced the carpeting.  I plan on building a new cradle in the future, something that looks like an old Roc Ola.
The Geico Caveman and Indian break-in the newly
